Annual Meeting of Iraqi Organizations in Halabja Governorate
An annual programme addressing issues concerning civil society organizations in Iraq. It aims to improve organizational practices, strengthen civil society, and identify the obstacles facing organizations.
The programme will bring together in Halabja one civil society organization from each governorate in the Kurdistan Region and the rest of Iraq. A total of 19 organizations will participate in two days of activities.
The activities will focus on organizational development, identifying the obstacles organizations face, and exploring appropriate solutions.
The programme was proposed by Qaysar Rahman and is implemented by NASIN Foundation in Halabja Governorate. Dr Hoshman Atta serves as Programme Director.
Objectives
Strengthen civil society as a whole and develop the capacities of individual organizations. Expand connections among organizations across different cities and towns. Create opportunities for organizations to get to know one another, exchange experience, and develop joint activities.
